Our Neighbor’s Kitchen

On the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, at 5:30 p.m., UUCW hosts Our Neighbor’s Kitchen, a full dinner prepared in the church kitchen with fresh ingredients and served to members of the community. We ask only for a voluntary donation of $2.00 for an individual or $5.00 for a family. Our Neighbor’s Kitchen is sponsored and supported by numerous local congregations, businesses and organizations, who donate money, food and the hard work and time of volunteers. The Winchendon School frequently donates a fresh-baked dessert. We serve 50 to 100 people depending on the weather and time of year. The meal begins with a Blessing led by the UUCW minister, Pastor Inanna Arthen.

We always welcome volunteers to help out with any part of the evening or all of it. All you need to do is come to the church and introduce yourself.
