Sunday, February 11, 11:00 a.m. – Sunday Worship with Rev. Inanna Arthen, “The Power of Love”

February’s signature holiday is Valentine’s Day, and the stores have been filled with pink and red hearts for weeks. Some people, such as singles or widows, feel excluded by a holiday they see as celebrating couples and romantic love. But when we talk about love, we’re talking about far more than romance novels and happy endings. Why have philosophers for thousands of years called love the greatest power of all? Is it merely an emotion or is it something far more?

We will be meeting downstairs for Sunday worship from now until Easter, in order to save on the heating bills. Please come in through the equal access entryway to the right of the front doors.

We will not have Religious Education (Sunday School) this year, as our children have moved on or moved away. If you have questions about RE, please speak to Rev. Arthen or the Governing Board.
