Join us on Sunday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. for our traditional end-of-year Flower Communion Service. For this multi-generational service, you’re invited to bring flowers of your choice–from your own garden, from a store, wild flowers or whatever you wish. The flowers will be gathered together in a vase and blessed, and then each person will be able to take a flower–a different flower than they brought–home with them.
After the service, we’ll join in a Maypole Dance outside–weather permitting, and we certainly hope it does because we’ve been rained out twice!
After the service and Maypole Dance, we’ll share a potluck supper in the Fellowship Hall downstairs–or possibly outside! All are welcome.
Although the Flower Communion has traditionally been the last regular Sunday service until September, we’re planning to continue through the summer with summer worship services every other week, and some other special activities, including our bi-weekly Saturday Yard Sales. Be sure you stop by!
