Join us on Sunday, June 14 at 5:00 p.m. for our traditional end-of-year Flower Communion Service. For this multi-generational service, you’re invited to bring flowers of your choice–from your own garden, from a store, wild flowers or whatever you wish. The flowers will be gathered together in a vase and blessed, and then each person will be able to take a flower–a different flower than they brought–home with them. We’ll conclude our service with a Maypole Dance outside on the church lawn. All ages welcome to dance!
Following the service, we’ll share a potluck supper in the Fellowship Hall downstairs–or possibly outside! All are welcome.
Although the Flower Communion has traditionally been the last regular Sunday service until September, we’re planning some special activities for the summer. We’re putting together some biweekly worship gatherings for summer Sundays, so that the church doesn’t take a long break during the warm months. Come September, there may be some big changes in store for Sundays. Stay tuned to this website and our Facebook page for more details!
