Sunday, March 20, 11:00 a.m. — Sunday Worship, “The First Day of Everything”

Join us on Sunday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. for Sunday worship with Pastor Inanna Arthen, “The First Day of Everything.”

Our calendars call the Spring Equinox “the first day of spring.” For many centuries, it was the first day of the year. It’s a time of contradictions, unreasonable weather, surprises both pleasant and unpleasant, new life and a lot of work. How do we make new beginnings for ourselves, and find the deeper truth hidden in this time of the year?

RE class will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the “Beginnings” class for younger kids, while the older kids participate in worship upstairs. At 11:30 a.m. the older kids go downstairs for their “Questings” class.

At 12:00 p.m. after the service, we’ll share a Fellowship Potluck lunch themed around “Eggs and Sprouts”
Bring your favorite dish of first spring dainties to share–salad, eggs (chocolate is fine!), asparagus, anything that makes you think of the first signs of spring. All are welcome!
