Sunday, March 6, 11:00 a.m.: Sunday Worship, “It’s About Time” with Pastor Inanna Arthen

Join us at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday March 6 for a timely reflection: “It’s About Time”.

A year with an extra day added, changing clocks randomly back or ahead, days that get longer and shorter…in a technological society that measures time to the billionth of a second–a nanosecond–time is still a mystery to us. How does our perception of time relate to our perception of other unseen realities? Why do so many religions focus so intently on time as a spiritual question? As we brace ourselves to lose an hour next weekend, let’s reflect on this enigma.

RE class will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the “Beginnings” class for younger kids, while the older kids participate in worship upstairs. At 11:30 a.m. the older kids go downstairs for their “Questings” class.

At 12:00 p.m. after the service, we’ll a Fellowship Potluck themed around “Frozen Food Day”
Wait? What??? It’s going to be HOW warm next week? Yup, you can’t make this stuff up. Let’s take a moment to thaw out something to warm up our cool March day after service before we start a downright hot week. All are welcome!
