Sunday, May 24 – 5:00 pm – Blessing of the Animals

On Sunday, May 24 at 5:00 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon will host a Blessing of the Animals Service led by Pastor Inanna Arthen. This will be a short service in which we honor our animal companions, and ask that they be blessed and protected for the coming year. You are welcome to bring your animals to be blessed personally. Make sure that all dogs are securely leashed and other animals are in cages or carriers to ensure everyone’s safety and security. If you can’t bring your animal, bring a photograph. All are welcome!

Following the service, we’ll share a potluck supper in the Fellowship Hall downstairs on the theme of “Paw Picnic.” Bring picnic/cookout food! Weather permitting, we’ll eat outside on the church lawn.
