Sunday, May 25, 2014: “Peace”

Join us this Sunday, May 25 at 5:00 p.m. for a service on “Peace.”

We’ll take a moment this Sunday to celebrate that elusive goal of all people who have served their country’s armed forces: peace. Our service will culminate with the TED Talk from General Peter van Uhm, Chief of the Netherlands Defence staff, as he shares his thoughts on why we need armies if we want peace. Please take an hour out of your busy week to join us in thought and song this Sunday.

Following the service, our Fellowship Potluck will be a Memorial Day Picnic. Bring a picnic lunch to eat outside on the lawn (weather permitting). We’ll have hamburgers and hot dogs to share. Everyone is invited!
