Join us on Sunday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. for a worship service with Pastor Inanna Arthen, “Welcome Spring”.
Our ancestors believed they shared the world with many other intelligent beings besides human ones. At the peak of spring, with new life bursting out everywhere, we’re acutely aware of all our brothers and sisters on this earth. Maybe that’s why our ancestors believed we were more likely to meet the Fair Folk in person during May than any other time. In honor of Mother’s Day, and the ancient holiday of Beltane, let’s talk about Mother Nature and all her children, and how we’re connected to them in body and spirit.
RE class will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the “Beginnings” class for younger kids, while the older kids participate in worship upstairs. At 11:30 a.m. the older kids go downstairs for their “Questings” class.
At 12:00 p.m. following the service, we’ll share a potluck lunch on the theme of “Mom’s Favorites.” Bring something to share that says “mom” to you–your mom’s favorite dish, your favorite food your mom cooked, or something your kids clamor for mom to make. All are welcome!
