Sunday, November 15, 2015, 4:30 p.m. – “How Do You Come Home When You’re Homeless?”

Join us on Sunday, November 15 at 4:30 p.m. for “How Do You Come Home When You’re Homeless?”, a thoughtful story from a former homeless veteran who is now a UU minister and counselor. UUCW is exploring possible missions for our congregation to offer assistance to homeless persons in Winchendon, some of whom are veterans. The need is critical and the problem is complex. Often the homeless are invisible to us. We start to help them by listening to their stories.

RE will begin downstairs at 4:00 p.m. The kids are starting to work on their Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service, so parents, be sure you’re on time! The rest of us will go upstairs for our service at 4:30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome for a potluck meal at 5:00 p.m. after the service and RE are concluded.
