In the Tarot card 5 of Cups, a mourning figure grieves over three overturned and spilled cups on the ground, oblivious to the two undisturbed cups still standing full nearby. This card reminds us that even when things get difficult, we still have many positive things in our lives to be grateful for. Practicing gratitude doesn’t mean dismissing or minimizing our own struggles or those of others. This Thanksgiving weekend, let’s reflect on how we can choose to see ourselves as blessed even when some of our cups aren’t flowing over.
We will not have Religious Education (Sunday School) this year, as our children have moved on or moved away. If you have questions about RE, please speak to Rev. Arthen or the Governing Board.
