Join us on Sunday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. for a worship service with Rev. Inanna Arthen, “One World.”
October 24 is United Nations Day, the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations in 1945. The U.N. was born from the dream that people all over the world would learn to see themselves as inhabitants of a single planet and focus on our common goals and shared human experience more than our differences. But now it seems that not only are nations more polarized than ever, people within nations are fractured into smaller and smaller “tribes.” How can we stop the trend toward divisiveness and factions? Is a united world possible?
We will not have Religious Education (Sunday School) this year, as our children have moved on or moved away. If you have questions about RE, please speak to Rev. Arthen or the Governing Board.
