Sunday, October 23, 11:00 a.m.–Sunday worship with Pastor Inanna Arthen: “How Would Jesus Vote?”

Join us on Sunday, October 23, 11:00 a.m. for a good-humored and timely worship service with Pastor Inanna Arthen: “How Would Jesus Vote?”

Unitarian Universalism recognizes many sources of wisdom from world and historical traditions, but first on the list of these is the Bible. We see Jesus as a great and wise teacher and take inspiration from his words as recorded in the Gospels. Never have we been more in need of wisdom and inspiration than in these final days leading up to the angriest and most combative Presidential campaign in living memory. Let’s take a look at some of the hottest “hot button” issues dividing our nation and compare them to Jesus’ teachings. What advice might Jesus have for conflicted voters in 2016?

RE will be meeting downstairs during the service. The “Beginnings” class will meet at 11:00 a.m. while the older kids join us for the first part of the service upstairs. At 11:30 a.m. the older kids will go downstairs for their “Questings” class.

See you in church!
