Join us on Sunday, October 5 at 5:00 p.m. for a service led by Inanna Arthen, M.Div on “Compassion.” October 4 is the Feast of Saint Francis, a man who taught that we are akin to all living things and owe them all our compassion, love and care. It’s a lost lesson for many Americans, especially these days. What’s behind our “compassion fatigue” and why is it so important to expand our hearts, and our actions, to those with less strength and good fortune than we have ourselves—human and otherwise?
Following the service we’ll share a potluck supper in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish, or just bring your wonderful self. All are welcome!
