Sunday, September 11, 11:00 am – Water Communion Service with Pastor Inanna Arthen

Join us on Sunday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. as we start our new church year with the traditional “ingathering” Water Communion Service. This is a multi-generational service, so bring your children! The Water Communion service affirms our unity as a congregation. Bring some water from home (water will be available if you forget). If possible, bring water that relates to something significant or especially enjoyable or memorable that you did, or that happened in your life, over the summer. During the service, we’ll pour all the water together into a bowl–symbolizing that we’re all part of a whole. The water is saved until spring, when it will be sprinkled on the church gardens outside.

Following the service, our RE Lead Teacher, Kirsty Erikson, will register students for the coming year of RE classes, and meet with parents. If you’re a parent who would like to enroll your child in RE, be sure you attend! Regular RE classes will begin on September 18.

See you in church!
