Sunday, September 20 — “Autumn Equinox”

Join us on Sunday, September 20 at 4:30 p.m. for our sleeker, simpler adult worship service. If you have kids, they’ll be starting RE class at 4:00 p.m. so they’ll have a longer time for their class activities than they do going downstairs halfway through worship service. Adults and teens, who want a time designed for them, will meet upstairs for a more compact service time at 4:30 p.m. This gives us time to fix potluck food, chat, share news and so on before we go upstairs. After the service, we’ll have a potluck meal at 5:00 p.m. On the last Sunday of the month, Our Neighbor’s Kitchen will take place at 3:00 p.m., before RE and Sunday worship.

The Autumn Equinox is the beginning of fall, a time for reflection, letting go of the summer and all its activity, and turning toward winter and the ending of the year. Take a break from all the bustle of work and school to refresh your spirit as we attune to the energies of the turning year.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
