Join us on Thursday, August 11 at 5:30 p.m. as Our Neighbors Kitchen serves Scalloped Potatoes with ham and cheese, along with sides and cookies, cooked by Pastor Inanna Arthen and assistants. “Soup and sandwich night” is expanding into “casserole and covered dish favorites” night so we can offer you even more delicious variety! This month we’re enjoying a casserole classic, just like Pastor Inanna’s mom used to make. Come escape the heat in our naturally cool Fellowship Hall.
We can always use more volunteers. If you’d like to help with set-up, come to the church between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. If you want to help with serving, come at around 5:15 p.m. so we can go over any special protocols for the night’s menu. Clean-up starts around 5:45 p.m. and usually takes about forty-five minutes. Volunteers have a chance to share the meal and fellowship.
This meal is sustained by gifts from the people who attend, the religious communities of Winchendon, the Winchendon Community Action Committee, The Winchendon School, and many volunteers.
